Rest in peace E3 and hello Gamescom as the new king of gaming conventions. When Gamescom 2025 takes place next week in Cologne, Germany, it will include over 1,500 exhibitors from 72 countries.
The count breaks previous records for the event.
“We are investing in a targeted fashion in expansion, infrastructure, and continuing development in order to further reinforce the economic success of our exhibitors,” Gerald Böse, president and ceo of Koelnmesse said. “The growth to 233,000 square meters of area and the record registration numbers confirm the sustained success of the hybrid event concept. Together we can already look forward to unprecedented variety.”
According to event organizers, the area being used it 3,000 square meters larger than 2024.
Within the more than 1,500 exhibitors will be a mix of games, tech, and other companies. Some games that have been announced to be at the show are Hollow Knight: Silksong, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Project Motor Racing, and more.
