It has been suggested that 2018’s Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the prequel to this year’s Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, will be receiving a PS5 upgrade very soon. It’s expected that this would bring the standard updates we expect from this type of ‘modernization’, including 4K/60 FPS support, high-resolution textures, and the inclusion of various other modifications.
The first Kingdom Come: Deliverance title was a well-received banger of an open-world RPG, but it did unfortunately suffer from a little jank that has made it a tough comparison to the sublime experience that is Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance PS5 Version
On social media, PlayStation Game Size posted an image of Kingdom Come: Deliverance accompanied by a telling suggestion:

PlayStation Game Size is a trusted source when it comes to information like this, and given the recent success of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and how the roadmap is unfolding, it makes perfect sense for Warhorse Studios to announce a current-gen upgrade for the first game.
I could even see the team releasing some kind of mega pack that includes both Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and all respective DLCs. That would be one hell of a bundle.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance was a phenomenal game that offered players one of the most realistic medieval experiences in modern gaming, but it was hampered somewhat by technical issues and more than a few bugs that resulted in some very funny compilation videos.
In my review for 2025’s Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, I revealed how much of an evolution the second game is, improving on the original game’s formula in every way imaginable.
