Every year, EA Sports gives NFL players a rating on a scale of 0-100 based on their on-field ability, and seven players earned a 99 overall rating in Madden 26.
Ahead of Madden 26’s worldwide release, EA Sports revealed some of the new features fans can expect. For example, the weather has a more significant impact on games, QB DNA matches the same behaviors of star NFL quarterbacks, and Coach DNA replicates the philosophies of the league’s greatest minds.
Meanwhile, Franchise overhauled staff management and copied the Wear and Tear system from EA Sports College Football. As for presentation, Madden 26 features former NFL legends in stadium pre-game rituals, has licensed more than 40 songs for stadium music, and includes official team mascots. On the field, you can expect a few players to have much better attributes than others.
Every Madden 26 Player in The 99 Club
As coined by EA, the 99 Club refers to players who earned a 99 overall rating for Madden 26. The Madden Rating for each player is a composite of scores in 43 categories, on which each player is graded. For rookies, data from pro days and the NFL combine are used to determine the ratings for speed, strength, and other performance categories.
With that in mind, here is The 99 Club for Madden 26.

All of these players are deserving of their inclusion. Saquon Barkley was named the Madden 26 cover athlete after an extraordinary season, in which he helped lead the Philadelphia Eagles to a Super Bowl victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Last season, Barkley had over 2,000 rushing yards and scored 15 touchdowns in 16 games. Meanwhile, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson went head-to-head all season in a tight NFL MVP race. Allen ultimately won the award, but both quarterbacks excelled all year.
Biggest 99 Overall Snubs in Madden 26
There are a few players who could have earned a 99 overall rating as well. That being said, EA dynamically changes the ratings throughout the season based on performances, so there is always a chance that these players will be upgraded eventually.
