One of the biggest releases of the summer is now right around the corner with the countdown to Wuchang: Fallen Feathers ticking by, and you may be wondering whether any early access options are available.
Those on Game Pass will benefit from receiving Wuchang: Fallen Feathers as part of the service, though you’ll need to check the PC specs if you’re playing on desktop, and pre-downloads are set to go live ahead of the release date toward the end of the month.
Early access has become a popular approach in the gaming industry, allowing players to jump in early, for a cost, and we’ve got the details on whether Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is bucking the trend or following suit.
Can You Play Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Early With Early Access?

No, 505 Games has not provided any early access options for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Instead, the release date and time is the same for everyone.
Whether you’re planning to play on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, or PC, you’ll need patience to wait for the release time, which, depending on your region, is either in the evening on July 23 or in the morning of July 24.
While early access is not provided as an incentive, there are still two versions of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers to consider purchasing. Both come with a pre-order bundle, containing two Costume Sets, a weapon, and a Glistening Red Mercury Skill Upgrade item.
If you splash out on the Deluxe Edition, you’ll also receive four additional costumes, four additional weapons, and the Blood of Changhong Skill Upgrade item.
Those with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription will be able to access the standard version of the game via the service as soon as it releases.
Is There Any Way to Play Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Early?
No, there is no way of playing Wuchang: Fallen Feathers in early access, as the game releases across all platforms simultaneously.
There has also been no demo for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers released, nor has there been any beta period. Neither of those is surprising, given that Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a single-player title, so server strain is not something that needs to be tested.
While this may have disappointed you, it does mean that players will go into the game blind and can experience everything for the first time.
