Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be available for Mac devices from July 17, 2025.
It is the year when CD Projekt Red ventures into new platforms with Cyberpunk 2077. First, we saw the Ultimate Edition release for the Nintendo Switch 2, and now we are finally having it released for Apple Mac devices.
Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition is Releasing for Apple Silicon Mac Models
As announced on their official X account (formerly Twitter), Cyberpunk 2077 and its Phantom Liberty expansion will be coming to Apple Silicon Mac devices this week. The game will take full advantage of Apple Silicon and Metal technologies to bring this experience to Mac gamers for the first time.
Cyberpunk 2077 on Apple Mac devices will feature advanced capabilities, including path tracing, frame generation, and built-in Spatial Audio, for an even more immersive gameplay experience and stunning visuals.
Moreover, CD Projekt Red has confirmed in the same thread that any player who has “previously purchased the game (base game, base game + Phantom Liberty, or Ultimate Edition) on Steam, GOG, or Epic Games Store will receive access to the Mac version of the same SKU at no extra charge.”
Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 Details Arrive Tomorrow
As we wait for the release of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on Mac devices, players can tune in to a new Redstream tomorrow. This live stream will focus on Updates 2.3 and will feature the Associate Game Director of Cyberpunk 2 and the Lead Designer at Virtuos. Interested players can tune in to the live stream on either Twitch or YouTube on July 16 at 5:00 PM CEST.
