The DM-10 emerged as the best weapon in Warzone following the Season 4 Reloaded update, and Activision wasted no time in nerfing the Marksman Rifle as part of the Warzone July 8 update.
On June 21, the World Series of Warzone tournament suffered a rough opening round as cheaters plagued the North American in-game open. The anti-cheat team responded by removing all cheating teams from the WSOW leaderboard, but one concern remained ahead of the next round, which is set to start this week.
No weapon has come close to being as powerful as the DM-10 in Season 4 Reloaded, and competitors and fans were concerned that it would be the only gun used. The development team also addressed that issue.

DM-10 Nerf
Activision admitted, “The DM-10 has excelled, but its strength in certain scenarios has outpaced the rest.” So, in response, this update reduces its bullet velocity and slows down its aim-down-sight speed and penalizes you more for not consistently landing upper torso and headshots.
As a result of Warzone’s July 8 update, we should see fewer Marksman Rifles in WSOW matches.
