If you want to try out College Football 26 before deciding to purchase the game, the EA Play free trial provides a perfect opportunity to do so.
In College Football 26, EA Sports introduced innovations to Dynasty, Road to Glory, and Ultimate Team. For Dynasty, EA added over 300 real-world coaches, improved the coaching carousel, introduced a trophy room, enhanced consistency in the transfer portal, and finally added cross-play support.
As for Road to Glory, you now start your journey in high school, and player progression has been overhauled for a more rewarding experience. In Ultimate Team, the development team introduced new cards, a single-player game mode, and implemented several community-requested quality-of-life changes. You can try out all of these new features with EA Play.
Is College Football 26 Available on EA Play?
College Football 26 is available to try for 10 hours with the EA Play trial.
Although College Football 26 doesn’t officially release until July 10, the free trial went live on July 7, coinciding with early access.
The trial is free, but if you decide to upgrade to a membership, the base subscription plan includes trials for other games and 10% discounts on purchases, including College Football 26 and Football Points that can be used to purchase packs in Ultimate Team.
In addition, you get a monthly College Football Loyalist Ultimate Team Pack. And, if you do ultimately decide to purchase the full game after the trial, all progress carries over.
How to Download College Football 26 Free Trial on EA Play
For the Free Trial, it downloads the whole game, which is 39.508 gigabytes on PlayStation and 40.5 GB on Xbox. Before downloading the trial, ensure you have sufficient storage space.
Once you’ve taken care of that, here are the other steps.
- Go to the PlayStation or Xbox Store.
- Select the magnifying glass icon.
- Search College Football 26.
- Select the Standard Edition.
- There will be an option to download an EA Game Trial.
- From there, you can complete the process and download the game.
There are no restrictions in the free trial, meaning you can play Dynasty, Road to Glory, Ultimate Team, and every other game mode. However, once your 10 hours are up, you will have to purchase the game to continue playing.
