Peak Roadmap Explained—Is Future Content Expected?

Peak hasn’t even begun to peak yet. The innovative mountain-climbing co-op title from Aggro Crab and Landfall is showing many players the ropes and slopes of steep inclines, but a Peak roadmap would reassure the community about updates moving forward.

2025 continues to deliver prime indie titles to ensure we keep eating good. REPO and Schedule 1 have shone, but it’s time for Peak to rise to the top. Its addictive co-op and multiplayer gameplay make it a great group activity—albeit frustrating when your progress comes crashing down!

If you’re interested in seeing what’s next, here’s an update on the Peak roadmap.

Is There a Peak Roadmap?

Officially, there is no Peak roadmap as the developer has no plans to support Peak from a major content standpoint anytime soon.

I should preface by saying that the Peak 1.2.a update added some new items, such as Shelf Fungus, Remedy Fungus, and Magic Bean.

So, there is some room for improvement and additional content. The 1.5.a update also tweaked some existing items, but anything substantial seems to be off the cards for now.

Thankfully, there seems to be a reason why.

Will Peak Get More Content in The Future?

Landfall has explained that the team—along with Aggro Crab—have other projects they want to focus on, meaning they can’t commit much time to developing new Peak content.

The news comes from the Peak FAQ, which talks about Peak’s future and fresh content updates.

“At the moment, we don’t have any plans for PEAK updates past this point. The Landcrab team were super happy to make this lil scout game together, but both Aggro Crab and Landfall have other projects ahead of them that they want to focus on for the future.”

Landfall has developed a few games in recent memory, including another Steam hit in Content Warning. Whereas Aggro Crab developed the 2024 title Another Crab’s Treasure. This is an exciting collaboration, but they’re reputable studios with big ambitions.

If Peak’s concurrent player count keeps rising and its popularity skyrockets, there’s every chance that more content could be developed down the line. We’ll update you if this is the case.
