At the 2025 Summer Game Fest Showcase, NEOWIZ made a surprising announcement regarding the release date for Lies of P: Overture.
Summer Game Fest 2025 revealed an exciting slate of upcoming games. This includes Resident Evil 9, which is set to launch early next year, new footage was shown for Death Stranding 2, and Dying Light: The Beast got an official release date.
Along with upcoming games, Lies of P Overture launched earlier than expected.
Lies of P Overture Release Date

The Lies of P: Overture DLC was shadow-dropped at Summer Game Fest and made immediately available on June 6 for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Mac.
Lies of P also added new difficulty options to the first game, which make it more accessible to a broader range of players. There are also two new boss rush modes. One features bosses across different difficulty levels, while the other lets players take on a gauntlet of bosses with limited resources.
Overture is a prequel set in Krat during the late 19th century. You step into the shoes of Lea, a Stalker, tasked with figuring out what’s going on in the city before a puppet massacre occurs.
As you explore Krat, you will see never-before-seen locations and uncover new secrets about the Lies of P universe. The sequel features new combat styles and a new arsenal of weapons to find a style that suits your preferences.
Players can expect plenty of challenging new bosses and areas teeming with enemies to explore.
Lies of P Overture Price
There is only one edition of Lies of P: Overture that costs $29.99.
Since Overture is considered DLC, you need the base game. In addition to owning the base game, you also have to reach Chapter 9 of Lies of P before getting access to Overture. Fortunately, a Lies of P bundle is available on Steam, which includes both games for $59.98.
Additionally, Lies of P Overture on Steam supports Xbox and PlayStation controllers, and the devs recommend using a controller to play this game.
On PlayStation and Xbox, Lies of P is currently on sale for $29.99, meaning you can purchase both games for $60, or there is a bundle for $89.99 when the sale ends.
In other gaming news, Gears of War: Reloaded is not releasing for PS5 in Japan, Fortnite teased a Simpsons crossover for a future season update, and 007 First Light will reportedly be more of a spy thriller than an action shooter.
