If you want to unlock the GRAU in Warzone, you’re in the right place. This fan-favourite weapon first appeared in 2019’s Modern Warfare and was one of the most dominant weapons in OG Verdansk, and it’s set to resurface in a way in Verdansk 2025.

Unlock the GRAU Conversion Kit
Unfortunately, the GRAU isn’t exactly the original model that we remember so fondly from 2019 – 2021. The weapon that took down enemies of all shapes and sizes has undergone a bit of a change, and it’s only available as the GRAU Conversion Kit for the SWAT 5.56.
If you want to get the GRAU in Warzone, you’ll need to unlock that GRAU Conversion Kit, which takes the SWAT 5.56 and tweaks it immeasurably, turning it into a fully automatic weapon. This will automatically add a new barrel and magazine and it’ll also unlock a 50-round extended magazine, which will be perfect for Verdansk.
To unlock the GRAU Conversion Kit, you’ll need to make it to the fifth page of the Season 03 Battle Pass. It’s here that you’ll be able to redeem your tokens to unlock the kit for the SWAT 5.56.
That’s effectively everything you can do to get the ‘GRAU’ in Warzone again.
