How to earn 2026 Pokémon World Championships Twitch Drops

This weekend, Trainers from around the globe will come together to celebrate PokémonXP and the 2026 Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco.

The event comes with a series of digital rewards for Trainers who are watching from home. Insider Gaming has all you need to know to earn those lucrative drops.

PokémonXP and 2026 Pokémon World Championships Broadcast

Trainers at home can tune in to the action beginning at 5:00 p.m. BST on Friday, Aug. 28, for Opening Ceremonies and follow the action throughout the weekend, concluding with our Closing Ceremonies, which begin at 3:30 a.m. BST from Chase Center on Championship Monday, Aug. 31, on both Twitch and YouTube.

Please visit PokemonXP.com for an overview of panels Trainers can watch at home or on the go, and on Pokémon’s website for an overview of the intense competition taking place at the 2026 Pokémon World Championships throughout the weekend.

Throughout the weekend, fans can also look forward to the new song “Ichiban” that will serve as the official theme song for the Pokémon World Championships, along with a collection of other original songs to commemorate this year’s competitions in a playlist.

How to earn Pokémon Twitch drops from the 2026 Pokémon World Championships

Trainers watching on Twitch can also earn digital rewards in Pokémon Champions, Pokémon TCG Live, Pokémon TCG Pocket, Pokémon GO and Pokémon UNITE.

The rewards and how to earn them are as follows:

Pokémon Champions:

  • 50 Quick Coupons – Tune in to twitch.tv/pokemon on 28 August. Expires Tuesday, 29 September 2026, at 23:59 UTC.
  • 5 Teammate Tickets – Tune in to twitch.tv/pokemon on 29 August. Expires Tuesday, 29 September 2026, at 23:59 UTC.
  • 5 Training Tickets – Tune in to twitch.tv/pokemon on 30 August. Expires Tuesday, 29 September 2026, at 23:59 UTC.
  • 2026 Worlds Incineroar – Tune in to twitch.tv/pokemon on any day of the competition. Expires Thursday, 3 September 2026, at 23:59 UTC.
  • 2026 Worlds Outfit Set – Watch the Pokémon VGC competition at the 2026 Pokémon World Championships on Twitch.tv/Pokemon or YouTube.com/@PlayPokemon for a password to receive cool Worlds-themed clothing for your Pokémon Champions avatar. This in-game outfit set includes the 2026 Worlds Cap (Red) and 2026 Worlds Shirt (Red). Limit one outfit set per player per password.

Pokémon TCG:

  • 6 Mega Evolution Pitch Black booster packs – Tune in to twitch.tv/pokemontcg on any day of the competition. Expires Friday, 25 September 2026, at 16:00 UTC. This reward is also earnable during the Pokemon TCG Finals on Sunday, 30 August 2026, on twitch.tv/pokemon.
  • Mega Evolution Pitch Black Mega Zeraora ex Playset – (2 special illustration rare and 2 double rare cards) — Tune in to twitch.tv/pokemontcg on any day of the competition. Expires Friday, 25 September 2026, at 16:00 UTC. This reward is also earnable during the Pokemon TCG Finals on Sunday, 30 August 2026, on twitch.tv/pokemon.
  • 2026 Pokémon World Championships Crate – Tune in to twitch.tv/pokemontcg on any day of the competition. Expires Friday, 25 September 2026, at 16:00 UTC. The 2026 Pokémon World Championships Crate includes 2026 Worlds Pikachu deck cosmetics, a 2026 Worlds Pikachu avatar jacket, a 2026 Worlds Pikachu avatar hat, 6 digital Mega Evolution—Pitch Black booster packs, and a Build & Battle event entry token. This reward is also earnable during the Pokemon TCG Finals on Sunday, 30 August 2026, on twitch.tv/pokemon.

Pokémon TCG Pocket:

  • 24 pack hourglasses – Tune in to twitch.tv/pokemontcg for 30 minutes on any day of the competition. Expires Sunday, November 28, 2027, at 14:59 UTC. This reward is also earnable on Friday, August 28, 2026, on twitch.tv/pokemonxp during the Pokémon TCG Pocket panel and during the Pokemon TCG Finals on Sunday, August 30, 2026, on twitch.tv/pokemon.

Pokémon GO:

  • Team Building: Great League Bonus Timed Research – Tune in to twitch.tv/pokemongo on August 28 and 29, and twitch.tv/pokemon on Day 3 of the competition, for 30 minutes. Expires Friday, September 11, 2026, at 20:00 UTC. Create a Championship-ready Great League team with Lickitung, Totodile, or Paldean Wooper.
  • 2025 World Champion Timed Research – Tune in to twitch.tv/pokemongo on August 28 and 29, and https://www.twitch.tv/pokemon on Day 3 of the competition, for 60 minutes. Expires Friday, September 11, 2026, at 20:00 UTC. You will be granted an encounter with a Tinkaton with stats identical to those of the Tinkaton on Beelzeboy’s 2025 Pokémon World Championships team along with an Elite Charged TM.
  • 2026 Worlds Tee (Green) – Tune in to twitch.tv/pokemongo to learn the passcode for this reward. Expires Friday, September 11, 2026, at 20:00 UTC.

Pokémon Pokopia Cloud Island Brings Fans at Home to San Francisco

Starting this weekend, players can visit a Cloud Island in Pokémon Pokopia inspired by PokémonXP and the 2026 Pokémon World Championships. This special Cloud Island will become available once the password is revealed after the Opening Ceremonies conclude on the PokémonXP broadcast. Fans can tune in on Twitch and YouTube beginning at 5:00 p.m. BST on Friday, Aug. 28, to catch the Opening Ceremonies live.

Pokémon Pokopia and Part 1: Bubbly Basin of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass paid DLC[1] are available now for Nintendo Switch 2. Part 2 of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass will be available later this year.
