Ubisoft has officially announced that the next public play test for XDefiant will take place from April 19-21. The playtest begins at 10am PT and will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

“As announced in our latest update, we are having a Server Test Session to help test our servers’ status and provide critical information to prepare for launch,” the game’s website reads.

The announcement confirms the Insider Gaming exclusive of the plans for the next public server test for XDefiant. In the initial report, Insider Gaming was told that initial plans were for a 12-hour playtest but with no issues, it was likely to last the entire weekend.

Those who want to play the game can preload now. Those who play in the test can earn various weapon skins and weapon XP boost rewards. The items that will be available at day one launch include an MP5 Shamrock skin for playing in the test, an M9 Ember skin for playing with a party, and three weapon XP boosters by reaching level 18 during the test.
