In a new thread on X, XDefiant executive producer Mark Rubin revealed that Patch 1.2 is coming tomorrow, and also spoke about server updates for the game.
First, Rubin mentioned a server change designed to fix up matchmaking regions. In a series of replies to fan questions, they also elaborated on plans for future updates, including Patch 1.2. Rubin confirmed this new update will arrive sometime tomorrow.
One player asked about weapon updates “for nerfing and buffing different guns.” Rubin confirmed some are coming to XDefiant in Patch 1.2 tomorrow, and added “we have more coming in patch 1.3.”
They did not offer details about other changes coming to Patch 1.2. If some plans are already in place for 1.3, it might arrive sooner than later, but that is only speculation.
Another fan asked about a server select option, as a potential addition to last night’s server fixes.
Rubin stated “that is something we are looking at,” but did not confirm plans to do so. They clarified there is “no eta at this time to know if/when we would add that.”
Earlier this month, Rubin also addressed concerns over the Spiderbot issues. Ubisoft only just released Season 1 and its corresponding patch notes this month. Season 1 features the new Capture the Flag mode, more factions and maps, and more.
