Trusted gaming leaks source NateTheHate recently shared an intriguing update on ResetEra, suggesting that Mafia: Definitive Edition is on its way to Xbox Game Pass next month. This scoop was further validated by another reputable leaker, eXtas1s, who also revealed the Game Pass release date for the title. Get all the details below.
Through a post on X (formerly Twitter), eXtas1s stated that he could “confirm Nate The Hate’s rumour” about Mafia: Definitive edition arriving on Xbox Game Pass next month. Additionally, eXtas1s that the alleged Game Pass release date for the title has been set as August 13. In the same tweet, eXtas1s also spoke about Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy arriving on Xbox Game Pass on August 8. Through one of his other tweets, eXtas1s has stated that the third rumoured Game Pass title for August 2024 is Wargroove 2.

If Mafia: Definitive Edition arrives on Xbox Game Pass, players are in for a treat. Through Mafia: Definitive Edition, players will receive a complete remake of the 2002 game Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. Players experience the journey of rising through the ranks of the Mafia during the Prohibition era. They will play the role of Tommy Angelo, a hardworking cab driver with ambitions to enter the world of organised crime.
The remake adds quite a few new features to the original title, such as stunning visuals at 4K/HDR, new cutscenes with story expansions to the original narrative, and new gameplay improvements to attract old-school fans as well as new players who want to experience organised crime in 1930s America.
