The time has arrived for us to check out all the Wave 2 Game Pass titles for October 2024, and there are a few surprises. October 2024 marks the month when we receive a whole set of Call of Duty games, including Black Ops 6, Modern Warfare III, and Warzone. Other popular games, such as the StarCraft Series, Dead Island 2, and more, are included in the list, too.
South Park: The Fractured but Whole gets added to Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 16 and will be available for cloud, console and PC. South Park: The Fractured but Whole has players creating their character, the New Kid, who joins Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman on the new adventure.
On October 17, Donut County arrives for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass standard on cloud, console, and PC. Donut County is a story-based, physics puzzle game where you play as an ever-growing hole.
Next is a Day One release, MechWarrior 5: Clans joins Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 17 for cloud, PC and Xbox Series X/S. MechWarrior 5: Clans has players embodying the role of Smoke Jaguar pilots, where they have to lead a squad through an expansive, action-packed, galactic adventure.
Call of Duty Games on Game Pass
Coming to Call of Duty, Black Ops 6 will arrive on Day One for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members on October 25. It will be playable on cloud, console, and PC. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone will join Game Pass Ultimate on October 25 and be available playable through Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta).
Then we have Ashen, an open-world co-op action RPG that will join Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard on October 29. It is playable through cloud, console, and PC.
Next is Dead Island 2, a popular Zombie-Slaying title in which players run amok in Los Angeles, trying to discover the mystery behind it all while Evolving themselves. This first-person adventure will join Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 31.
StarCraft Series
On November 5, Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass players can play StarCraft Remastered and StarCraft II: Campaign Collection. StarCraft Remastered will allow players to relive a classic, real-time strategy game with improved graphics and audio. On the other hand, StarCraft II: Campaign Collection will enable you to explore the game’s highly popular multiplayer mode.
Game Leaving Game Pass in October
On October 31, Frog Detective, Headbangers, Inkulinati, Lonely Mountain’s Downhill and Mineko’s Night Market will leave the Game Pass Library.
