Xbox Game Pass is back again with a new wave of games in April 2025, with Wave 1 featuring several Day One releases like South of the Midnight, Commandos: Origins and more.
Xbox Game Pass Schedule for April Wave 1
From April 3, Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard players will be able to access Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition on cloud, console and PC. Ultimate Edition features four campaign add-ons, Director’s Cut content, and all cosmetic packs. The quirky co-op puzzle title, All You Need is Help, will be available for the console through Game Pass Standard on the same day.
Players can access two more games on April 3 with Game Pass Standard, Still Wakes the Deep on Xbox Series X/S and Wargroove 2 on console. Still Wakes the Deep is a game where you are trapped on an oil rig on the Northern Sea, surviving all the horrors in this ‘tale of isolation’. Wargroove 2 introduces a new cast of Commanders and features such as design, share, cut-scenes, campaigns and more.
Then, on April 8, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition lands on console and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. The Ultimate Edition features Diablo III and the Reaper of Souls expansion set. This month’s first Day One title also arrives on April 8, with South of Midnight launching for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X/S for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass users.
On the next day, April 9, Commando: Origins arrives for cloud, PC and Xbox Series X/S as the second Day One title of the month through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. This month’s third and final Day One title, Blue Prince, will launch on cloud, PC and Xbox Series X/S through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 10. Lastly, Hunt Showdown 1896 will launch for PC on April 15 through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Games Leaving Game Pass in April
As a new wave of games on Game Pass, a collection of titles will also be leaving the library soon. The following games will not be available on the Game Pass Library from April 15. Interested players can check out the free in-game rewards for this month here.
