Xbox Announces Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Special Edition Bundle

In a new blog post, Xbox announced it has partnered with Best Buy, Paramount Game Studios and GameMill to release a Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 special edition bundle.

This new bundle includes an Xbox Series X inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants, as well as a themed controller.

The controller features a collage of multiple iconic characters from the hit SpongeBob series. Naturally, the bundle also includes a digital copy of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2.

A limited supply of the bundle will be available on Thursday, March 7, 2024, beginning at 8 AM pacific time. It will only release in the US as a Best Buy Drop, and it will cost $699 retail.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 released in November 2023 to average reviews or higher. However, many fans consider the sequel a vast improvement over its predecessor.

The roster includes central characters that were oddly missing in the previous game. This includes the iconic Jimmy Neutron, as well as Squidward. Squidward was a welcome addition to the lineup and features a fairly viable moveset.

Most recently, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 released a new DLC with Mr. Krabs last month. Mr. Krabs was revealed in recent leaks from December 2023. The leaks also teased Zuko, Iroh, and Rocksteady.

The Xbox Series X console was a natural fit for SpongeBob SquarePants, and the special edition looks nicely detailed.

The bundle does come with a pretty hefty price tag. However, even if Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 may not have enough clout for some, SpongeBob is certainly a major incentive.

Meanwhile, claims surfaced just weeks ago suggesting that an all-digital version of the Xbox Series X console could release this summer. It could potentially arrive in either June or July 2024.
