At least once per year, we have some new kid on the block who wants to vie for the throne. They intend to take down the likes of Battlefield, and most of those titles flop. This year, we have Delta Force by Team Jade, and it’s looking more likely than ever before. First and foremost, being a free-to-play first-person shooter, Delta Force has a much better chance to succeed. But will it? Only time will tell, but interested players don’t have to wait long. Here’s when you can play Delta Force!
What is the Delta Force Release Date?
While they technically call the upcoming release date an open beta, it’s officially launching on Steam. Delta Force will be available on December 4, completely free to download and play for anyone who can meet the game’s system requirements. Don’t worry; they’re not tough to meet with your current hardware, so download the game and jump into a match free to test the waters!
Is Delta Force Coming to PlayStation 5?
While the PC version of Delta Force launches in early December, the console version is currently planned for sometime in Q1 2025, according to reports. Once the console release date comes to light and we receive concrete information, we’ll update you here, but you should know that Delta Force is indeed coming to PlayStation 5.

Is Delta Force Coming to Xbox Series X|S?
Delta Force will launch on Xbox Series X|S alongside the PC and PlayStation 5 versions. However, like with the PlayStation version of the free-to-play first-person shooter, there’s no current release date for the Xbox edition. It’ll happen sometime between January and March in Q1 2025, early next year.
