Valorant Champions 2024 Begins Today
Starting all the way back on February 1, the Valorant season has been quite the spectacle for those who love competitive esports. With many of the best teams in the world competing against each other, only a few were able to make it to the Champions event.
In fact, only 16 teams were able to qualify.

Valorant Champions 2024 Prize Pool Breakdown
The entire prize pool for the 2024 Valorant Champions is $2,250,000. Here is a breakdown of the prizing:
- 1st: $1,000,000
- 2nd: $400,000
- 3rd: $250,000
- 4th: $130,000
- 5th-6th: $85,000
- 7th-8th: $50,000
- 9th-12th: $30,000
- 13th-16th: $20,000
Valorant Champions 2024 Format
Here is a look at the official Valorant Champions 2024 format:
- The Group Stage will take place August 1st – August 11th, 2024
- Four Double-Elimination Format (GSL) Groups.
- Each group will have four teams.
- All matches are best-of-three.
- The top 2 teams from each group advance to the Playoffs.
- Four Double-Elimination Format (GSL) Groups.
- Playoffs will take place August 14th – August 25th, 2024
- The format will be a Double-Elimination bracket.
- All matches (excl. Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final) are best-of-3.
- The lower Bracket Final and Grand Final are best-of-five
