Ulsan Wins The Tekken 8 Esports World Cup Grand Final

Popular Tekken 8 competitors, Ulsan and Atif went up against each other today in the Tekken 8 Esports World Cup Grand Final. Though, both fought hard, only one player was to walk out as the Tekken 8 Esports World Cup Champion.


Ulsan Wins The Tekken 8 Esports World Cup

The two competitors took the battlefield in a first-to-five competition. Atif, began the tournament with quite a bit of momentum, as the player won the first two rounds of Game 1. Ulsan, though, was not allowing for a sweep, coming back and winning the game 3-2.

Both players played as the infamous Dragonuv.

Going into Game 2, Ulsan did not drag behind from his momentum during Game 1, winning the game 3-1 and putting himself ahead 2-0. Atif, though, desperately wanted a comeback, winning the first two rounds of Game 3. Still, Ulsan proved why he does the best under pressure, coming back and winning the game 3-2.

Ulsan wins Tekken 8 Esports World Cup

Game 4 was no different for Ulsan, as the competitor won 3-1, putting himself in a 4-0 lead, with only one more win needed to grab that Esports World Cup victory.

While some fans were probably hoping for a historic comeback from Atif, it sadly did not happen, as Ulsan swept the player with a 5-0 win, certifying himself as the Tekken 8 Esports World Cup Champion and walking out with a whopping $300,000.

Ulsan has been competing in the Tekken esports scene since 2018 when the South Korean player would dominate in Tekken 7 tournaments. The competitor has walked out of various Tier 1 tournaments with first place, making him one of the most decorated Tekken players out there.

Now, playing for KWANGDONG FREECS, Ulsan continues to push the Tekken esports scene to a new level.
