TMNT Splintered Fate DLC Announced With Roadmap, Physical Release Possibly Under Way

In a new post on X today, Super Evil Megacorp revealed plans for upcoming TMNT Splintered Fate DLC along with a roadmap for content coming in 2024 and 2025.

The devs announced that fans can expect “new environments, narrative, enemies, playable characters and more.” They also added that all platforms will include online matchmaking “as part of our Steam and Epic PC releases.”

According to today’s roadmap, TMNT Splintered Fate will also add challenges, leaderboards, and “original TMNT stories” with the DLC.

The roadmap also teases even more console expansions, though it did not confirm specific platforms or release windows.

In a follow-up post, Super Evil Megacorp also thanked fans for playing and feedback, and then offered an update on a potential physical release.

The devs confirmed that “we’re working on your request for a physical release.” While they did not offer anything concrete, they reassured fans that there is “no more news on this today, but the lair is a hive of activity.”

Super Evil Megacorp first announced TMNT Splintered Fate during Nintendo’s Indie World showcase in April 2024, and confirmed couch co-op shortly before of its July release.

Nintendo just announced another Indie World Showcase this week, with a livestream coming later today. The presentation will also include a new Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase back-to-back, adding up to roughly 40 minutes.
