After having its release date pushed back a couple weeks, The Rogue Prince of Persia is finally in Early Access. To celebrate, the team at Evil Empire has released a new launch trailer for The Rogue Prince of Persia that you can check out below.
“Flow between death-defying platforming and acrobatic combat as the Prince of Persia himself in our new action-platformer roguelite,” the trailer’s description reads. “Battle through the capital city again and again with one goal – find a way to save Persia from a Hun invasion wielding dark shamanic magic.”
The Rogue Prince of Persia is a new take on the franchise from Evil Empire, the studio that has supported and released the various expansions for the popular metroidvania Dead Cells.
The game was originally supposed to release on May 14, but was delayed because of the success of Hades 2. The Rogue Prince of Persia is available now in Early Access on PC via Steam where it’s currently 10% off. As of writing, there is no set release date for the game on console.
