The Outer Worlds 2 has received a new trailer from Obsidian, which debuted tonight at The Game Awards.
In the trailer, and in true Outer Worlds fashion, the narrator makes plenty of quips, including a neat reference to Fallout: New Vegas basically being Fallout 3: Part 2.
The trailer doesn’t reveal a release date but offers a reiteration that The Outer Worlds 2 is dropping in 2025. It also gives us a nice preview of what’s to come in terms of the scope of the game.
Check out the new trailer below.
More Action, More Weapons, More Graphics
The Outer Worlds 2 promises to be much bigger, broader, and more ambitious than the first game, which was released in 2019. The sequel is long overdue, but the wait seems like it will have been worthwhile by the time the game is released next year.
Here’s the new trailer:
The Outer Worlds (2019) is a solid Obsidian RPG, and it was dubbed ‘Fallout: New Vegas in space’ by many. It offers plenty of freedom, a branching narrative, and the ability to go anywhere and do whatever you like, often with hilarious and chaotic results.
