An all-women’s Fortnite tournament series is hosting an in-person event this October. That’s right. The Milk Cup will be coming to Los Angeles this October, with various women competing in the LAN event.

The Milk Cup Makes History With First Ever All-Women’s Fortnite LAN Event
Women belong in esports, too. The Milk Cup is a direct representative of empowering women’s esports competitors, giving them a great chance to show up and show off some of the best Fortnite LAN action.
The event is dedicated to providing a safe and empowering space for the women competing, with 99 of the best women Fortnite competitors in the US. The event is being produced by Women of the eRena (WOTE) and is also partnered with MilkPEP (hence the name, Milk Cup).

The tournament will be taking place at the Los Angeles Comic Con event and will have a $250,000 prize pool.
“The L.A. Comic Con team is thrilled to play host to The Milk Cup LAN championship,” said LA Comic Con VP and Event Director Alli Johnson. “The Milk Cup is an incredible event empowering women gamers to come together, compete, and further their careers.”
Various Milk Cup Qualifiers Were Hosted For Competitors To Play In
The Milk Cup has hosted various qualifiers over the last few months. Each event has been hosted by the popular Fortnite streamer, ThePeachCobbler, and has amassed millions of views. This gave competitors various opportunities to qualify for the in-person event this October.
Each event was held in the Trios Zero Build game mode, with 99 teams of three making it to the finals.
Between the three qualifiers, over 300 women competed and the event garnered almost 3 million views. This has made The Milk Cup one of the biggest all women’s esports tournaments in history.
