Sony PlayStation is releasing a limited edition, The Last of Us DualSense controller, that players can pre-order starting March 14, 2025.
PlayStation has revealed a brand new DualSense Wireless controller commemorating the Last of Us franchise. PlayStation created the new limited edition controller in close collaboration with Naugty Dog’s creative team. The controller features glossy trophy icons on the body, referencing iconic factions like the Fireflies, the Washington Liberation Front, and more.
Head of Studio and Head of Creative Neil Druckmann and Graphic Designer Megan Mehran from Naughty Dog also had some details to share about the new limited edition Last of Us DualSense controller. The developers wished that both instalments were represented equally in the design and had three focus points for their trophy icons: Firefly, moth, and wolf. The Firefly is the iconic spray-paint logo from part one, whereas “the moth and wolf represent the intertwining lives and duality between Ellie and Abby in Part II.“
