Team Heretics And Leviatan Advance To Valorant Champions 2024 Upper Bracket Semis

Big day for Team Heretics and Leviatan as the two esports teams advanced to the Valorant Champions 2024 Upper Bracket Semifinals. With playoffs having started the other day, many teams have been picking up the momentum in an attempt to secure a spot in the Upper Bracket Semis.

While some teams fell short of advancing toward the coveted VCT 2024 trophy, Team Heretics and Leviatan proved to the world why they are some of the best Valorant players in the game.

Leviatan Sweep The Floor With G2 Esports

In a 2-0 victory, Leviatan cemented themselves in the Valorant Champions 2024 Upper Bracket Semifinals, pushing G2 Esports to the Lower Bracket. While the first game was close, Leviatan finished with a 16-14 victory on the popular Icebox map.

The second game, though, went a little differently, as Leviatan won 13-5. Proving their worth, Leviatan closed out the series during this game on the map, Abyss. The team will now compete against Team Heretics in the Upper Bracket Semis.

Leviatan vs. G2 Esports

While G2 Esports may have lost, their constant push to be victorious still proves why they are one of the better teams in the league. Josh Lee, the team’s head coach, had a few words to say on G2 Esports’ loss.

“Definitely fell short of expectations. And I still think we’re confident on that map. It’s one of those like – we’re a little bit nervous, we forgot certain win conditions that need to happen for us to make that comp work,” said Lee after G2 Esports lost 2-0 against Leviatan. “And then before we adjusted, it was a little too late on getting enough rounds on attack.”

Team Heretics To Face Off Against Leviatan In Upper Bracket Semis

Team Heretics also walked out with a 2-0 victory against Fnatic during today’s Valorant Championship 2024 Playoffs. The first game was a bit different than the first Leviatan vs. G2 Esports game, as Team Heretics won 13-3 against Fnatic on the Lotus map.

Fnatic had a valiant fight, though, in the following game. While the team was unable to come back, they still only lost the second match, 14-12. The match took place on the map, Abyss, allowing Team Heretics to certify themselves as the winners, advancing them to the Upper Bracket Semifinals.
