The 2024 RLCS has officially come to an end. Rocket League fans around the world have gotten their fix of car vs car soccer action, with the best Rocket League teams ever to exist facing off against each other in Forth Worth, Texas. However, only one team was able to walk out at the champions, and that was Team BDS.
Team BDS Manages to Win RLCS Grand Finals After Barely Winning Semifinals
It was a riveting day for Team BDS, as the popular esports organization barely made it to Grand Finals. During the matches, the team had to face off against Team Falcons, who had previously lost to Karmine Corps in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals.
Team Falcon’s loss, however, had made them hungry. Knowing their next set of matches could be their last, the team pushed forward past their limits as well as they could against Team BDS, but ended up losing 4-3.
Team BDS, though, had a victorious day after winning, not only the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals but also their Semifinals matches and the Grand Finals.
The team faced off against G2 Stride, winning the championship 4-2. Not only did they win $300,000, but their lead player, ExoTiik, was awarded the RLCS 2024 Season MVP.
