Activision has just dropped a bomb on the Warzone community, revealing that Superstore is returning as an important POI in Urzikstan. It’s not the Superstore that we know and love as one of the most intense hot drop spots in Verdansk, but it’s a close enough replacement.
From July 24, Season 5 will unravel in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, bringing players this reimagined POI.
Landing Superstore
Superstore is one of the most iconic locations in Verdansk. It was always one of the go-to drop spots for players looking to secure those high-kill games. Whether you preferred landing directly on the rooftop and engaging in long-range battles or if you dived through the doors and pummelled players in the close-knit aisles of the store itself, you’ll be back at it come July 24.
In a humorous clip posted on social media, Activision revealed that the Atlas Superstore is coming to Urzikstan:
If you want to be ‘Employee of the Match’, you’ll need to hit the ground hard and secure the loot before anyone else has a chance to grab it. Warzone might have more than a few issues at present, but the arrival of these nostalgic points of interest always piques the interest of gamers worldwide.
It’s not a return to Verdansk, but it’s something.
