Street Fighter 6 Gameplay Shown At The Game Awards

During the preshow for The Game Awards on Thursday, Capcom showed off new gameplay for the upcoming release of Street Fighter 6.

In the trailer, fans got a look at a few of the locations in the game’s new “World Tour” mode such as the United States, France, and more. In addition to the traditional fighting that fans have come to expect from Street Fighter, “World Tour” features minigames and “Master Assists”.

Also shown were some of the game’s fighters such as Dee Jay, JP, Marisa, and Manon.

In addition to the new gameplay, it was confirmed that Street Fighter 6 will launch on June 2, 2023. The confirmation comes after the date was leaked early via the PlayStation Store.

Street Fighter 6 will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 4, and will have three different versions to choose from when you make the purchase. Preorders are open for the game now on all platforms.

Preordering the game will get players the following:

Street Fighter 6 Standard Edition:

  • Full Game

Deluxe Edition:

  • Full Game
  • Year 1 Character Pass
    • 4 additional characters
    • 4 additional characters’ colors: Outfit 1 Colors 3-10
    • Purchase bonus: 4,200 Drive Tickets

Ultimate Edition:

  • Full Game
  • Year 1 Ultimate Pass
    • 4 additional characters
    • 4 additional characters’ colors: Outfit 1 Colors 3-10
    • 4 additional characters’ costume: Outfit 2 (including colors 1-10)
    • 4 additional characters’ costume: Outfit 3 (including colors 1-10)-
    • 2 additional stages
    • Purchase bonus: 7,700 Drive Tickets
