How To Stream To Multiple Platforms At Once

It seems like every platform out there is begging for streamers to use their website. In this day and age, many creators have started streaming on multiple platforms at once. If you are not utilizing TikTok, Twitch, YouTube and Kick all at once, then what are you doing?

Here is how to stream on multiple platforms at the same time.

How To Stream On Multiple Platforms At The Same Time

The future of streaming seems to be with every platform. Many creators have their stream set to go live simultaneously on both Twitch and TikTok, YouTube and TikTok, etc.

The best part about multi-streaming is it’s super easy to do. In fact, streamers of all sizes are doing it. It’s best to not skip out on platforms, as focusing on sites such as Twitch and YouTube while also focusing on TikTok is important.

A big question people have, though, is “Can I stream to multiple sites with OBS?” With OBS being the top streaming software, many wonder whether or not you can use it to multi-stream.

And is it free to stream on multiple sites? Well, to an extent, yes.

How To Stream To Twitch And YouTube In OBS

Depending on how you want to do it, there are paid ways to stream to multiple platforms and multiple free ways, too.

Paid

The best way to stream to multiple platforms at once, such as Twitch and YouTube, is by utilizing Streamlabs OBS’s paid software. Streamlabs is free but does have a $19.99 USD subscription, that lets you set up multiple streams at once.

While this is easily the safest option, there are still plenty of alternatives out there that let you multi-stream for free.

Aitum, a leader in OBS plug-ins, has also announced their plans to release a plug-in soon that will allow players to multi-stream, which will be only $4.99 USD a month.

Free

You could download regular OBS, and use the free version of Streamlabs to stream to one platform while using the regular OBS to stream to another. This, though, uses quite a bit of CPU and may be taxing on your PC.

Additionally, there are quite a few third-party software and plug-ins out there that help creators stream to multiple platforms for free. One such option for OBS is the OBS Multi RTMP plugin. All you have to do is install the plug-in into your OBS and you will be able to go live to multiple platforms at once. Aitum, a company known for making automation tools for streaming, is also set to launch a way to stream to multiple platforms at once.

Overall, multi-streaming to Twitch and YouTube works best with the paid version of Streamlabs OBS. Do remember, streaming to multiple sites at once works best with a stronger PC. For many big creators, a separate streaming PC is used aside from their gaming PC.

Multi-streaming To TikTok And Other Platforms For Free

While multi-streaming to Twitch, YouTube and Kick works best with a monthly Streamlabs subscription, TikTok has its own streaming software that works well.

TikTok’s LIVE Studio allows users to set up a live interface and go live on the TikTok app. The software uses little CPU and can be opened while also running OBS.
