Shift Up Celebrates Stellar Blade Going Gold

In a post on Twitter, the Stellar Blade development team at Shift Up shared a group photo in celebration of the highly anticipated PS5 exclusive going gold. That means everything is polished up and the game is officially ready to be released to the great, wide world of gamers. On April 26, Stellar Blade will be released on PlayStation 5, and if the early demo is anything to go by, it’s going to be a phenomenal game with plenty to offer players.

Long Journey

Stellar Blade has turned heads from the moment it was first revealed, and that’s thanks mostly to the game’s protagonist, Eve. She has become something of an object of desire for many gamers the world over, and that’s mostly attributed to Shift Up basing Eve’s character build on a real-world South Korean model – with certain augmentations, of course. Put simply, Shift Up hasn’t held back from making Eve look as visually pleasing as possible.

Beyond that, Stellar Blade is a great post-apocalyptic action title. It features intense sword-based combat, a branching levelling system, a detailed world, and an immersive story. There are plenty of things to see, do, and unlock, and Shift Up has already pledged to make plenty of content available for free, including a slew of outfits and a New Game+ update down the line. There might even be DLC available at some point.

Here’s the post that was shared on Twitter to celebrate Stellar Blade going gold:

It’s one of the hottest and most eagerly anticipated PS5 exclusives to emerge in recent years. It was just a few days ago that Shift Up revealed it’s already hard at work on its next game, but there are promises to support Stellar Blade for the foreseeable future.
