Wargaming Announces ‘Steel Hunters’, Its Next Big Free-to-Play Game

Wargaming has announced its next big free-to-play game, Steel Hunters, combining genres such as Battle Royale and Extraction Shooters.

The announcement came at this years The Game Awards, which showcased that Steel Hunters will see players take control of giant mechs called Hunters and battle in PvPvE combat.

“Each Hunter offers their own playstyle, unique skill sets, and progression systems that allow you to use different strategies and tactics to battle your opponents on your way to the final showdown at the Extraction Point,” the game description reads.

Steel Hunters kicks off with a 10-day closed playtest, where you can get your hands on the game for the first time. You can register on the Wargaming website here.
