Trademarks Suggest ‘Starborn’ is Starfield’s Second Expansion

A new trademark filing suggests that Starfield’s second expansion may be called ‘Starborn’.

First spotted by Twitter user Timur222, the new trademark was filed on July 12, 2024, and is registered by ZeniMax Media Inc.

For context, Starborn refers to the group of humans who have passed through Unity, which allows them to travel between universes. In the game’s story, they reveal themselves to Constellation after the Spacefarer collects enough Artifacts.

There’s no indication of when Starfield Starborn will release, as players are still eagerly waiting for a definite release date of Starfield’s first DLC, Shattered Space. Shattered Space was initially revealed before the release of Starfield and included in the game’s Premium Edition.

At the very least, it seems Starfield’s Starborn DLC is at least a 2025 release.

Starfield achieved an 83 on Metacritic for the Xbox Series X version of Starfield, whereas PC gained 85.
