Announced during Xbox’s Tokyo Game Show 2024 broadcast, StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II: Campaign Collection will be available for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members from November 5, 2024.
StarCraft Remastered revamps the entire sci-fi strategy experience while maintaining some original features. Xbox Game Pass members will experience remastered units, buildings, and environments, as well as improved game audio and more supported resolutions with this version. At the same time, you can try out the original three races, immerse yourself in the epic storyline and battle it out in the popular multiplayer mode.
StarCraft II: Campaign Collection, on the other hand, focuses on the same three powerful races. It provides the first campaign for free and gives players access to the popular multiplayer. It also adds new multiplayer modes, including versus and co-op, and players can also access Custom and Arcade modes.
In other news, Fragpunk’s closed beta for Xbox and PC begins this October. Also, Xbox will scrap the Game Pass Mobile app in November. What are your thoughts on StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II coming to Xbox Game Pass? Join the discussion in the official Insider Gaming Forums.
