Due to a day one patch, Ubisoft has asked all Star Wars Outlaws Early Access players to start with new saves.
Star Wars Outlaws Early Access has kicked off, with Gold and Ultimate Edition players enjoying three days of early gaming in Ubisoft’s new open-world title. However, the progress made during this time could be wasted, as the developers have asked players to update the game with the day one patch and start fresh with a new save.
After the new patch dropped, Star Wars Outlaws Gold and Ultimate Edition players on the PS5 were sent an email stating that the best way to experience the Outer Rim was to play the “latest version.” The developers added that players on the previous version of the game might be experiencing some issues due to the newest patch.
Hence, they asked the early access Star Wars Outlaws players to update to version 1.000.002 and start with a new save “to fully enjoy” the game. Also, the developers have warned that if players continue to play on the prior save, they “will unfortunately face issues and progression blockers”.
Therefore, the players have to let go of all their progress until now and start again, or else they could face even more significant problems later in the game. However, this could be cumbersome for players as many might have already invested hours in the game.
