Star Wars: Hunters developers have officially confirmed that the game is being shut down this year.
Star Wars Hunters’ online servers will be shut down on October 1, 2025, which is the last day the game will be playable. The final content update will arrive on April 15, 2025. The developers have also stated that the decision to shut down the game “was not made lightly” and that they are “committed to providing visibility and updates throughout the transition process.”
The blog post about sunsetting Star Wars: Hunters reveals additional information about upcoming updates. On March 25, players will observe that Season 5 will receive a 3-week extension. The developers will “re-run events and shop bundles from the Season” during this time. The ranked season will also receive an extension, providing players more time to hit Kyber 1.
The final content update for Star Wars Hunters will arrive on April 15. The free update will also disable in-game purchases across all platforms. The April update also adds a new Support Hunter, Tuya. The character will be playable immediately when it arrives and at no cost. Additional in-game content will be released during this update, too.
Eventually, on October 1, 2025, the online servers for Star Wars Hunters will be officially shut down, and the game will no longer be accessible.
