Launching March 6, 2025, Split Fiction is a co-op game that has players get caught in a similation that has levels bounce between sci-fi and fantasy.
“Jump into mind-blowing moments and experience the many worlds of Split Fiction, a boundary-pushing co-op adventure from the studio behind It Takes Two,” the game’s description reads. “Master a variety of abilities and overcome diverse challenges while jumping between sci-fi and fantasy worlds!”
To play with a friend, only one person will need to own a copy of the game
Ahead of its reveal at The Game Awards, Hazelight founder Josef Fares teased players on social media. In a short video, he talked about a boss in the game that players will “go nuts” for when they see it as well as revealed the characters’ names of Mio and Zoe. He then wrapped it up by saying he would show some “great gameplay” during the event.
