Split Fiction, the next game from Hazelight Studios, has been given a new video highlighting co-op gameplay. For those who don’t know, the studio was responsible for incredible games such as A Way Out and It Takes Two.
The video, which you can watch below, is narrated by Josef Fares, the director. Split Fiction is an experience built specifically to be enjoyed in co-op. The story stars Mio and Zoe, where the two, as the name suggests, visit various fictional worlds with different themes.
In the video, we can see one of the fictional worlds created by Mio. The universe in question has a sci-fi theme:
With a Tron vibe, the two protagonists will have to defy gravity using a series of tools. There are swords, a kind of whip, and even a chase sequence with futuristic motorcycles.
Split Fiction promises a wide variety of gameplay. Given everything we’ve seen so far, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the game nominated for GotY; after all, the studio’s previous game won the prize in 2021.
The game will be released on March 6th. Will you give it a try? Tell us in the comments and join the discussion in our forum!
