Saber Interactive released its August community update for Warhammer 40:000: Space Marine 2 on Thursday, and with it came a reveal that the game will support up to 4K resolution on console.
According to the studio, Space Marine 2 will have both a Performance Mode and Quality Mode on the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 (PS5). With Performance Mode, the game can run up to 60 frames per second (FPS) at 1080p resolution. When set to Quality Mode, Space Marine 2 will run at 4K resolution at 30 FPS.

Should you want to play the game on the Xbox Series S, there will be some differences. The game won’t have a Performance Mode on the console; Quality Mode will have a 1440p resolution at 30 FPS.
Other details on the games visuals include no HDR or RayTracing. It will, however, have DLSS2 and FSR2 support at launch with support for DLSS3 and FSR3 coming via a post-launch update.
