Ultrawide monitors are becoming more commonplace in the gaming world. As such, developers should consider offering day-one support for ultrawide; that way, players can enjoy the scenery in widescreen glory. That said, does Space Marine 2 support ultrawide?
Does Space Marine 2 Have Ultrawide Support?
At launch, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will not support ultrawide monitors. It’s undoubtedly unfortunate news for anyone with an ultrawide hoping to fight in the boots of an Ultramarine in 4K ultrawide glory, especially considering the game is positively gorgeous when you max out its graphical options. It would genuinely suit an ultrawide setup perfectly well!

When is Ultrawide Support Coming to Space Marine 2?
All that said, ultrawide support is coming to Space Marine 2. Developer Saber Interactive hopes to release ultrawide support in one of its first patches for the game sometime in late September. By then, they’ll likely have fixed a few bugs and included quality-of-life tweaks, so if you’re keen on playing the game with an ultrawide and don’t want to compromise for the time being, when support does come, it will be a better experience overall!
Does Space Marine 2 Have DLSS Support?
It does! But only DLSS 2, not DLSS 3. As with ultrawide support, you’ll be happy to learn that DLSS 3 is coming to Space Marine 2 sometime after launch, though there’s no current timeframe for support. It will likely happen during the first few patches, but don’t quote us because that can change or, unfortunately, simply not happen. Here’s hoping, though!
Since we’re on the subject of hardware support in the game, don’t forget to check out the Space Marine 2 PC requirements before you dive into the game!
