Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s developers already have ideas for a DLC or sequel.
In an interview with IGN, Saber Interactive’s Chief Creative Officer, Tim Willits, spoke about their plans for a DLC or sequel. Willits stated that Space Marine 2’s game director has already “proposed some story ideas that could either be DLC or a sequel”.
While the dev team is currently taking a breather, they are committed to providing long-term support for Space Marine 2. Willits has confidently assured that they will not let down the Warhammer fans and are hopeful to be working on Space Marine content for a considerable time.
While speaking about DLC content for Space Marine 2, Willits stated that one major reason for having 25 million players in World War Z was releasing new content such as DLC packs, free classes, and more. He added that whenever they released such content, the team would observe a spike in sales as well as player count.
Willits also expressed his excitement about the future of Space Marine 2, stating that its success has changed their approach to everything. He shared, “This changes everything we do moving forward, from our small games like our third-party publishing games to A Quiet Place next month. We have Toxic Command coming up with Focus soon. Everything that we do now, this changes.”

WB needs to give Saber the Batman Beyond, Nightwing, and Jonah Hex licenses.
These guys should steal the Elric license from Aurora Punks. Also would love to see them turn Requiem Vampire Knight into a God Of War/Gears Of War like.
