Skull and Bones – A Pirate’s Deal Quest Guide

One of the first quests in the Skull And Bones beta requires you to speak with the Pirate Chief Officer who will send you on a short quest before helping you find your way to Sainte-Anne called A Pirate’s Deal Quest.

While this quest won’t take long, it can be a little confusing knowing where to find the contraband you need to collect.

Luckily for you, we’re here to help you quickly progress through this mission so you’re one step closer to making it to Sainte-Anne.

Accepting The Quest

After speaking with the Pirate Chief Officer, he will request that you recover Scurlock’s contraband from the water. Once you accept A Pirate’s Deal quest, you will be tasked to find the following items. Upon finding them, you must report back to the Pirate Chief Officer.

  • 6 Explosive Firearms
  • 6 Opulent Rum

Location Of Contraband

Set sail and follow the mission marker on your map. Keep in mind that sometimes the mission marker will only give you the generalized location of an item.

You may see some wreckage located on the small nearby “islands”, however, there doesn’t seem to be a way to set foot on the land.

Pay attention to your surroundings as you’re sailing around the area. The contraband will be floating in boxes nearby. All you have to do is sail up next to it and interact with the boxes. It should only take a couple of boxes before you have obtained the 6 explosive firearms and 6 opulent rum.

Watch out for the sharks as there are a lot roaming around this area. Try to avoid engagement with them. They can do a lot of damage to your boat if they attack just right.
