Silent Hill 2 Remake Is 50 GB In Size

With its release just days away, the file size of the Silent Hill 2 remake has been shared online.

According to PlayStation Game Size on Twitter, Silent Hill 2 will run 50 GB in size. More specifically, the game is 50.535 GB.

Preload will begin for the Deluxe Edition of the game on October 4 with the game available to play starting October 6. For those with the Standard Edition, they’ll be able to pre-load on October 6 with access beginning October 8.

A remake of the 2001 survivor horror game, Silent Hill 2 will see several new features for players. Aside from updated visuals and controls, new features include new areas to explore, updated combat, 3D audio for immersion, and even a longer game in terms of time to complete.

Silent Hill 2 will be available for PC and PlayStation 5. Those hoping for a release on the Xbox Series consoles will have to wait at least a year.
