Marvel Rivals is shaping up nicely as one of the top emergent esports titles to hit the industry in years. The game has only been on the market for a few months, but it has already generated intense interest from some of the biggest, boldest esports organisations in the business.
One industry legend who promised to piece together a competitive roster a while ago was Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek. Hours ago, the former pro player and iconic content creator revealed his first roster, dubbed ‘Shroud-X’.
Shroud-X Enters Marvel Rivals Esports
Marvel Rivals is undergoing a generational run, having pulled in tens of millions of players in just a few months. The free-to-play hero shooter has turned heads worldwide and continues to do so, with esports organisations showing their desperation to be a part of the competitive ecosystem that’s rapidly developing.
Shroud-X was recently revealed by the man himself, and here’s the full starting roster:
- Impuniti
- Window
- Fidel
- Vision
- Nuk
- Doomed
- Dongmin
The team represents a solid competitive split, with the roster being made up of three Vanguards, two Duelists, and two Strategists. The squad will be managed by Branchies, per a graphic posted by Shroud on social media:
Introducing… SHROUD-X Marvel Rivals
Earlier this year, Shroud stressed he’d piece together a Marvel Rivals esports organisation if a charity stream he hosted raised a certain amount of money. That milestone was shattered as his community raised more than $1 million, surpassing the target set by Shroud by a mile.
