Rocket League has dipped its wheels into many unique partnerships, and Mortal Kombat could be the next. The news isn’t a leak either, the tease comes directly from Rocket League’s social media, leading us to believe this could be khaos.
There seems to be something in the water at the moment. Only a day after leaked news of a Fortnite and Mortal Kombat collaboration was seemingly confirmed, it seems Rocket League doesn’t want to miss the party.
A four-second teaser is all that was needed to send social media into a frenzy.
Mortal Kombat & Rocket League to Form a Deadly Alliance?

Rocket League’s official X channel posted a compact clip telling us all we need to know. In it, we see the classic RL ball bouncing out of the goal. The goal explodes into fire and smoke, but as the ball bounces back to the middle of the arena, something iconic happens.
A spear flies out of the miasma of smoke, and a recognizable voice screams: “Get over here!” In the blink of an eye, the ball has fallen foul of the smoke and flames, never to be seen again—until kick-off.
If this wasn’t a big enough hint, the message even says: “FLAWLESS VICTORY.”
I think it’s safe to assume Mortal Kombat content is coming to Rocket League. They are words I never thought I would say, to be honest, but here we are.
It remains to be seen if it’s just a cool Scorpion-inspired celebration or more on top of this. While we wait, if you want more MK news, check out the recent footage of The Boys’ Karl Urban as Johnny Cage in the Mortal Kombat 2 movie.
I know it’s hard for MK shills and stans to hear this but MK is a dead brand. Tencent should have bought Epic not Ubi.
