The Logitech G325 is an all-new wireless gaming headset that offers slick performance while not breaking the bank, which is perfect for gamers on a budget. It has been dubbed ‘gamer-grade’ by Logitech G and offers several top-tier features for a relatively bottom-tier price tag, which is always nice.
This Logitech G325 review will tell you what you need to know about the headset in as short a time as possible. Like this wireless headset, it’s light, comfortable, and no-frills; just what you need to get out there and make a guided decision quickly.
Is the Logitech G325 Headset Worth $79.99?
The Logitech G325 won’t leave you with a hole in your wallet, but it’s not the cheapest thing on the market. However, for the price point, you’ll find that it still manages not to compromise on quality.
Once out of the box, which bears the traditional eco-friendly packaging that Logitech is famed for, you’ll find that the Logitech G325 doesn’t ‘feel like much’. It’s extremely light at just 212 grams, it has a small form factor, and all you get in the box is a wireless dongle and a charging cable.
But what will win you over isn’t the appearance of the G325, which is pretty run-of-the-mill for the Logitech G range of headsets; it’s the capabilities of the device. This super sustainable headset fits so well that it almost provides ANC without having ANC on board. The LIGHTSPEED wireless technology allows for long-range connectivity that doesn’t suffer, and the battery can run for 24 hours when fully charged.
That’s the marketing spiel that you’ll see on the website when purchasing the Logitech G325, but let me attest to how it’s all very true. I’ve put the headset through its paces, and I’m genuinely impressed with what this $80 headset can do.
You’ll barely feel it on your head, but regardless of what you play, you’ll hear it in crystal-clear clarity with a decent range, including some nice bass and accurate directional audio elements. When combined with the G Hub application, things only get better, too.
If you’re on the fence regarding a multi-platform approach, bear in mind that the Logitech G325 works with PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and anything that supports Bluetooth 5.0 (or above). It’s a powerhouse peripheral that goes with you, and it’s great for both single-player and multiplayer titles, no question.
It won’t beat my Astro A50 5th Gen (also from Logitech), but it’s not supposed to. It’s a budget-friendly option, and it accomplishes that task perfectly. If you want to step up a little, you might opt for a Logitech G522 for just under double the price.
