Red Art Games Hit With Major Cyber Attack

Red Art Games, a publisher based in France known for games like Have A Nice Death and Nuclear Blaze, has been hit with a major cyber attack.

The company posted an official statement online Tuesday afternoon confirming the attack, confirming that customer data was involved in the breach. In order to keep customers safe, the studio also took down their website “for the time being.”

“The Red Art Games website has just undergone a cyber attack, and will be offline for some time until the situation is sorted out,” the studio said in a statement. “Unfortunately, our customers’ data has also been exposed during the attack. The people responsible may attempt to leverage the stolen data for fraudulent purposes.”

Red Art Games says that people should be “very vigilant” if they get emails or any sort of contact from someone claiming to be from the studio.

“We want to ensure you that the bank information are safe and hasn’t been impact by this cyberattack and we highly advise you to change the password that was used for your Red Art Games account,” they said.

While they recover from the attack, the studio says all shipments, order changes, and refunds will be paused for the next few days. More updates on the situation will be available “in the days to come.”
