Concept Art of Pheonix Labs’ Canceled “Project Dragon” Surfaces Online

The first concept art images of Phenoix Labs’ canceled game named “Project Dragon” have been released online.

The images come courtesy of character design and illustrator Nicholas Kole, who revealed yesterday that their project had been canceled after three years of internal struggles to save the game. As of yet, there are currently no details on why the game was canceled.

Kole says that Project Dragon “was “was a cosy sandbox survival crafting multiplayer rpg- a buildable world made of blocks inspired by Minecraft filled with fantasy characters and quests inspired by Breath of the Wild”.

Despite the game being canceled, we will fortunately be able to get a feel for what it would have looked like, though, as according to Kole, Pheonix Labs has lifted its embargo, and artwork can be shared. So far, Kole has only revealed two images to the public, but more are expected soon (we’ll update the article when it happens).

You can also check out Nicholas Kole’s website on more artwork from various games at nicholaskole.art – where he’ll also be uploaded more images of Project Dragon soon.
