Pokemon GO has just revealed details about its upcoming season, Max Out. The new season will mark the arrival of Pokemon from the Galar Region and the introduction of Dynamax Pokemon.
Pokemon GO Max Out Introduces New Critters from Gen 8
The Max Out season will introduce new Galarian Pokemon from Nintendo Switch’s Sword and Shield games to Niantic’s AR title. Additionally, there is a Special Research story with branching paths that trainers can try out. This quest will allow players to choose a Galarian partner Pokemon, and depending on your choice, players will also receive a Postcard Book background inspired by their partner.
Dynamax Pokemon Details
The new feature for this season is Dynamax Pokemon, a temporary transformation found in Gen 8 Pokemon. This transformation will drastically increase the Pokemon’s size and provide them with a new moveset called Max Moves.
Players will find these Dynamax Pokemon through new Power Spots spread globally. They can join their friends to take on the new beasts through Max Battles, allowing them to capture the Pokemon they are fighting and acquire Max Particles.
Pokemon GO Max Out will kick off at 10 AM on September 3 and continue until December 3, 2024, at 10 AM local time. Niantic will reveal more details about the new season soon.
