The subscription model is coming to the gaming PC market. NZXT has announced NZXT Flex, a gaming PC subscription service that offers players modern gaming machines for a monthly rate.
“At NZXT, we believe everyone should be able to play the games they love,” said Bryan de Zayas, NZXT’s Head of Marketing, via release. “In the past, that meant buying a pre-built PC or building your own. Our new Flex subscription service offers gamers more flexibility and choice, so they can focus on what really matters – playing the games they love.”
NZXT Flex offers three plans for players depending on what they want to pay and the specs of their PC. The cheapest plan, which starts at $59 per month, includes an Intel Core i5 CPU and an Nvidia RTX 4060. For $119 per month, you can get an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and RTX 4070. Lastly, for $169 per month, you can get a Core i7-13700KG and a RTX 4070 Ti Super.
All models and components are subject to availability and what are the current parts.
As far as the subscription is concerned, NZXT says you can cancel at any time with the ability to return or upgrade your PC. They also guarantee upgrades every two years.
Lastly, and most importantly to many, is that there are no upfront costs nor are there cancellation or replacement fees.

So renting more for a pc than buying one… Gotcha
So let me get this straight
At 169 a month is insane amount of money. In 5 years that is over 10k.
You know what you can buy today for 10k and it will last you longer than 5 years. Omg. Not to worry though. People will fall for this and Nzxt will make their money and the rest of the gaming industry will follow.
